Better late than never! Seems my posts are taking longer to write but we got there in the end. This latest instalment happened Boxing Day. As we all know this is a day which has become famous for football. Everyone looking to get back into the routine as they shake of the excesses of drinking and eating all day previously.To be honest it was a bit of a last minute decision to go to a match as funds were not looking like they were going to allow it. However when I got the itchy feet feeling on Boxing Day I knew that I had to get to a match! Flicking through the local fixtures I decided that Cheltenham Town was the best place to go as it is nearest to where I live and I knew that while I took my partner's son to his first ever League game she could go off and do a spot of shopping!
In my everyday life I work for Abbey Business Equipment in Cheltenham and have done for the last 3 years so it seems mad that this was my first visit to the stadium we sponsor. Even more annoying that after I'd paid for us to get in I found out that I could have got complimentary tickets as an employee of the sponsors. Schoolboy error! But you live and learn I suppose.....
